Prior to this orchard I used to think acidic apples, like the Granny Smith, were not sweet and then I tried my first apples that contained both bracing acidity and incredible sugar levels - the Zabergau is that.  A mid-season apple with decent disease resistance. We’ve added many of these to the orchard for obvious reasons.
